The much anticipated 8th edition of CC Forum "Investment in Sustainable Development" went down a storm on 17-20 October 2022 at the iconic Dorchester Hotel in central London. Referred by many as the densest concentration of impact wealth in the UK over the last three years it became an investor oriented precursor of the upcoming COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh.

The mission of CC Forum has been getting together thought leaders, entrepreneurs, government officials, members of royal families and international celebrities for brainstorming sessions on some of the most pressing issues mankind is facing today. The topics of the CC London included Climate Change, Government Strategies, Waste Management, Reforestation, Preservation of Water, Fighting the Poverty, Social Impact and Social Inclusion.
Top speakers included Lord Jonathan Marland of Odstock, Lord Nat Wei of Shoreditch, Prof. Gunter Pauli, Senator Hugo Berkout, Karen Sumser-Lupson, Per Wimmer, David Arkless and many others.
There was no shortage of global announcements at the forum.
One of the highlights of the London edition was a fireside chat of the forum's Chairman Mr. Max Studennikoff with Vice-President of Mastercard Mr Derren Powell and Ms. Michele Bonjovanni, Founder of HealRWorld at which the first ever SDG merchant card was launched globally.
Another highlight of the forum was the debate "Can We Afford the Net Zero?"; which featured inter alia, perhaps, somewhat controversially the well known climate sceptics Lord Monckton and Marco Morano.

a starting capital of 100B US dollars to setting up the world's largest green investment
fund.
The event's climax was undoubtedly its magnificent black-tie Gala Dinner & Awards Giving Ceremony held on 18th October. The guests were entertained by the London International Chamber Orchestra. The soloists included a 14 y.o. violin child prodigy Richard Kollert accompanied by his father Jiri Kollert who dazzled the audience with his virtuoso performance of Bizet-Waxman's Carmen variations and the rising opera star tenor Freddie De Tommaso who has been widely acclaimed as "a new Luciano Pavarotti"; and who has been starring in Covent Garden, Vienna Staats Opera and La Scala Milan. An icing on the cake were ballet snippets performed by kids from Young Ballet Academy spearheaded by Ms. Marina O'Neill Spencer.

Traditionally, an important part of the Gala was the Awards Giving Ceremony. The honourees of this year's award were Lord Nat Wei of Shoreditch for his contribution to green energy transition, Ms. Yvonne Thompson, the UK's first black female millionaire for bringing diversity in sustainable investment, Mastercard for its reforestation initiative through Priceless Planet coalition and Ms. Julia Morley, Chairwoman of Miss World Ltd. and the mastermind Beauty with a Purpose charity for her contribution to humanitarian causes.
Miss World Karolina Bielawska was in attendance, her participation having been secured by the Nepalese Gurung Family as a teaser since one of the forum's editions has been scheduled in Kathmandu, Nepal. Ms Bielawska also unveiled at the Gala a British-made Riversimple vehicle pioneering the hydrogen cell net zero emission technology.

The Gala saw a charity NFTree auction conducted by Humans I Trust DAO which has raised funds for Trees For The Future charity for planting 16,000 trees in Africa thus contributing to resolving environmental and social issues.

The event rounded off with a dedicated VIP Networking Luncheon at the House of Lords of the British Parliament hosted by Lord Nat Wei of Shoreditch and supported by Wallex Group.

The 9th edition of Climate Challenge Forum is scheduled to take place on 7-10th March next year in Beverly Hills/Los Angeles (USA), its first in the Western hemisphere, and will be studded by American and international billionaires as well as A-listing Hollywood celebrities aligned with the ethos of the CC Forum to make the world a better place.
