LeBron James ready for his 21st NBA season with a new book

I LeBron James isn't just the NBA's oldest player. Historically speaking, he's also been among its busiest. In 20 NBA seasons, he has averaged 38.1 minutes per game, and even as a 38-year-old last season, he still managed to tie for the 19th most minutes per game in the league at 35.5. James likes to control every element of a basketball game. He can't do that from the bench.

LeBron James announces release of his second children's book, 'I Am More Than' just days before the season start.

Shortly before the start of the season, LeBron James wore a Damoflage jacket, black pants and black Derbies from the Maison in Denver. He paired it with black sunglasses from Pharrell Williams' Spring/Summer 2024 collection. He completed the look with a hard case and a green Monogram LV Speedy Bag from Louis Vuitton.

With less than a week until he would begin his 21st NBA season, LeBron James announced another one of his off-the-court endeavors. The NBA's all-time leading scorer posted on Instagram that he will be releasing his second children's book.

"Coming to bookstores near you!! I Am More Than!" James posted, with the latter sentence being the book's title. "Our next book is about believing in yourself and all the amazing things you’re capable of, which NO ONE else can define for YOU," he wrote. "I hope ya'll feel inspired to be #MoreThan in this next one."

The title is perhaps a play on several of James' past works. In 2020, he co-founded "More Than A Vote," a nonprofit organization that fights for African-Americans' voting rights.

He also starred in a documentary about his high school playing days, "More Than A Game," and in the docuseries, "More Than An Athlete" that highlighted his life on and off the court.

James penned his first book, "I Promise," in 2020. That book title is the same as his school he opened in 2011 in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. The book was a New York Times No. 1 bestseller. www.louisvuitton.co

Pack nicotine alternatives

Smoking cessation isn’t a one-and-done thing; being out with friends—especially smokers—might exacerbate your cravings. Instead of giving in and asking for a smoke, tobacco-free alternatives can help tamp down those urges. Nicotine pouches are a great product for a night out. Most nicotine pouches come in cans, which allow users to experience nicotine satisfaction on the go. Another great option is nicotine patches, which have been around for decades as a quitting aid. Brands like Habitrol nicotine patches come with two or three-step programs over eight or twelve weeks, gradually lowering the nicotine dose after some time. all images ©
