Faraone Casa d’Aste on Via Montenapoleone is preparing for its usual, second and final annual in-person event, scheduled for November 27th at the Portrait Milano Hotel. Participation is also possible via streaming through the dedicated Myfaraone app, by phone, or through written offers. A varying lineup of sought-after lots will be presented in three different sessions, with one in the morning dedicated to luxury goods and two in the afternoon featuring a selection of jewellery and watches. AFTERNOON SESSION: ROLEX AND PATEK COLLECTION WATCHES

Given the recent strong attraction to luxury watches, not only from collectors and second-hand dealers but also from a new audience of Millennials and Gen Z, increasingly active on web platforms, the highlights in this section will be Rolex and Patek Philippe, known in the market as "Safe Choices" due to their high demand and consistently increasing value. The watch lineup will be led by a Daytona Cosmograph Big Red 6263, the latest reference with a manual Valijoux 727 movement, argentè dial, stainless-steel case and oyster bracelet with screw-down pushers and an additional original stainless-steel bezel, allowing the owner to transform it into a model 6265. It comes with its box and papers and has been in the same owner's hands since 1986. Next are two Patek Philippe watches: an Ellipse ref: 3598, rare in this more oval shape with an 18k yellow gold case and a crocodile strap with original gold pin buckle, featuring an ultra-thin 16250 movement, the thinnest ever made by the Swiss Maison, accompanied by its original case. Followed by a Golden Ellipse ref 3585 with a squarer shape 18Kt yellow gold case. Still under the Patek Philippe brand, a Gondolo ref 5009, like the previous ones in perfect condition, with the box and papers, featuring a yellow gold case, crocodile strap, and original pin buckle. The watch selection continues with a rare Vacheron Constantin Malte Hispahan collection watch in 18k yellow gold with a full diamond bracelet, accompanied by its original box and archive extract.

DAVID WEBB, BULGARI, AND FRASCAROLO JEWELLERY In the jewellery session, variety is the dominant theme to meet the constant demand of both private and non-private buyers. A selection of David Webb precious pieces from a private collection includes various yellow gold rings decorated with diamonds and enamels, as well as a sautoir. Alongside, there are Bulgari lots, including a Tubogas bracelet from the Monete collection, dating back to the late '80s, featuring Gallia Massalia silver coins, a topaz Pyramid pendant with a chain, earrings from the Nuvola collection, various rings, and an open bangle in yellow gold and stainless-steel. In addition to branded jewelry by Van Cleef & Arpels, Buccellati, Cartier, Pomellato, Sabbadini, and Faraone, there are niche pieces like an animal themed Parure Frascarolo in yellow gold, enamel, diamonds, including a sautoir, a convertible bracelet into a brooch or pendant, a lighter, and a lipstick case. Notable items in the auction also include a 6.79 ct. Fancy Yellow emerald-cut diamond ring (GIA certified) and a 4.23 ct. oval-cut diamond ring.

HERMÈS, GUCCI, AND CUVEE DOM PÉRIGNON BAGS In the morning session is the time for luxury goods, becoming increasingly popular, especially among environmentally conscious Millennials who are interested in the circular economy and are ready to invest in desirable items at a reduced cost that can be easily resold. Notable items in this session include two Hermès Kelly bags in gold, one being a vintage 32 Celier and the other a 28 Epson Returnè, along with a Herbeg travel bag and various accessories from the Parisian Maison, such as a vintage crocodile belt, gloves, scarves, and bracelets, as well as a Guadalquivir breakfast set. Following these are two vintage crocodile Gucci Bamboo bags, one with a shoulder strap and the other without, a limited-edition Louis Vuitton Capucines bag that shades from white to blue, and several Chanel items, including a belt with a mini-pochette. The closing lot of the auction, in the afternoon session, is a Cuvee Dom Pérignon Millesime Jeroboam (3L), numbered 393 and part of a limited series from 1993 created for the new millennium celebration. This vintage champagne was aged in the cellars of Eperney and delivered to the current owner in 2000 New Year’s Eve. It comes in a numbered wooden box with precious leather protection and a certificate of ownership.

Pack nicotine alternatives

Smoking cessation isn’t a one-and-done thing; being out with friends—especially smokers—might exacerbate your cravings. Instead of giving in and asking for a smoke, tobacco-free alternatives can help tamp down those urges. Nicotine pouches are a great product for a night out. Most nicotine pouches come in cans, which allow users to experience nicotine satisfaction on the go. Another great option is nicotine patches, which have been around for decades as a quitting aid. Brands like Habitrol nicotine patches come with two or three-step programs over eight or twelve weeks, gradually lowering the nicotine dose after some time. all images ©
