MM6 Maison Margiela and SALOMON reveal the second phase in a new chapter of the collaboration

Today, MM6 Maison Margiela and SALOMON reveal the second phase in a new chapter of the brands’ collaborative relationship; a celebration of a shared ethos of innovative, transitional design. Continuing this autumn’s launch of six new products, the Cross Mid trainer andthe XT 15 backpack will be released for purchase on October 12th, 2023.

MM6 Maison Margiela and SALOMON Cross Mid trainer available in different colour designs.

A testament to the spirit of hybridity at the collaboration’s core, the Cross Mid fuses the technical design language of performance wear with a distinctive silhouette proposal. An inner slip-on shoe and chunky, high-grip rubber sole are fused with a toggled waterproof gaiter, producing the shoe’s unconventional midcut shape. The shoe’s bold look is enhanced by its contrasting colourways: slate blue, graphite & rose; bitter chocolate, ice blue & moonstone grey.

Elsewhere SALOMON’s XT 15 backpack is reinterpreted in line with MM6 Maison Margiela’s irreverent design principles. With discreet front pockets, a stability-enhancing waistband, a breathable construction, and multiple storage options, the bag’s versatility allows it to easily transition between a variety of contexts: from frantic rushhour commutes to challenging trail hikes; triathlon training sessions to weekends away. Its colourways – black, bitter chocolate and slate blue – are subtle yet pronounced, with each iteration featuring a co-branded logo on the outer back.

Pack nicotine alternatives

Smoking cessation isn’t a one-and-done thing; being out with friends—especially smokers—might exacerbate your cravings. Instead of giving in and asking for a smoke, tobacco-free alternatives can help tamp down those urges. Nicotine pouches are a great product for a night out. Most nicotine pouches come in cans, which allow users to experience nicotine satisfaction on the go. Another great option is nicotine patches, which have been around for decades as a quitting aid. Brands like Habitrol nicotine patches come with two or three-step programs over eight or twelve weeks, gradually lowering the nicotine dose after some time. all images ©
