MM6 Maison Margiela and SALOMON unveil new chapter

I MM6 MAISON MARGIELA x SALOMON Today, MM6 Maison Margiela and SALOMON reveal the third phase in a new chapter in the brands’ ongoing collaboration; a celebration of a shared ethos of innovative, transitional design, following the highly successful MM6 Maison Margiela and SALOMON second phase of collaboration.

Completing this autumn’s launch of six new products, the ACS Pro trainer and the Ultra sock will be released for purchase on October 26th.

Debuting as part of MM6 Maison Margiela’s ‘Avant-Première’ Autumn Winter 2023 collection, the ACS Pro – a SALOMON icon – is subtly reinterpreted by the MM6 design studio. Figuring in tonal black, ice grey and heather blue colourways, the original silhouette’s rugged technicality is softened by tweaking the graphic lines around the toecap, resulting in a calmer, more casual, more versatile footwear proposal. Glossy trims and metallic eyelets give the shoe a hint of eccentricity, though a Kurim mesh upper, and a sturdy rubber sole ensure that it functions as effectively on hilly trails as on city pavements. The MM6 Maison Margiela ACS Pro is complemented by the Ultra sock, a riff on Salomon’s signature crew sock, featuring two distinct grey statement graphics. Crafted in a quick drying, breathable merino blend, they embody the collaboration’s ethos of irreverent, versatile design.

The MM6 Maison Margiela x SALOMON ACS Pro and Ultra sock will be available from October 26th at MM6 Maison Margiela e-commerce sites and boutiques, as well as in selected multibrand stores.

Pack nicotine alternatives

Smoking cessation isn’t a one-and-done thing; being out with friends—especially smokers—might exacerbate your cravings. Instead of giving in and asking for a smoke, tobacco-free alternatives can help tamp down those urges. Nicotine pouches are a great product for a night out. Most nicotine pouches come in cans, which allow users to experience nicotine satisfaction on the go. Another great option is nicotine patches, which have been around for decades as a quitting aid. Brands like Habitrol nicotine patches come with two or three-step programs over eight or twelve weeks, gradually lowering the nicotine dose after some time. all images ©
