Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute Expands Global Family Office Roundtable (FORT) to North America with Dallas Event

Hosted at Dallas Cowboys HQ October 9 and 10, FORT North America 2023 will bring together global asset managers and Texas family offices representing $11 trillion

DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute (SWFI) today announced that a flagship event in its successful conference series, FORT (Family Office Roundtable) Global, will expand to North America with an event at The Star – home to the Dallas Cowboys – on October 9 and 10. This invitation-only conference will host a diverse array of global asset managers, institutional investors and family offices representing an estimated $11 trillion in assets.

With an immersive two-day format, the event promises an exciting lineup of illuminating panel discussions, networking sessions, keynote speeches and entertainment, aimed at igniting conversations and cultivating new alliances. The event is set to host 250 select invited guests and feature 32 prominent speakers, including Peter Knez, former Chief Investment Officer of BlackRock; Tarek Hajjar, Senior Principal of the Investment Corporation of Dubai; Bryan Hedrick, Portfolio Manager for the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport Pension Fund; and Anya Schiess, Co-Managing Partner, Life Sciences Private Capital at J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

The conference will cover a range of topics, including private equity trends, family office deal flow and institutional co-investment, and the approaches institutional investors and family offices are taking when it comes to real estate investing, creating an unparalleled opportunity for meaningful dialogue about the macro factors impacting private investment.

“This event isn’t about financial transactions, it’s about forging relationships and sparking new ideas that have the potential to reshape the landscape of investment and wealth management,” said Lakshmi Narayanan, Chairman of SWFI. “We continue to navigate a challenging macro environment, and we find it’s even more critical in these times to bring people together and discuss the creative ways the world’s largest institutions are maneuvering to meet their investment objectives. This event has been highly successful in other global markets in Europe and the Middle East, and we are thrilled to expand the opportunity for insight and connection to North America as well.”

Under Narayanan’s visionary leadership, SWFI continues its commitment to fostering strategic dialogues among decision-makers from global sovereign wealth funds, sovereign development funds, public and pension funds, endowments, family offices, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, policymakers, athletes, influencers, and a diverse range of industry luminaries.

SWFI events are renowned for their blend of insightful panel discussions and plenary sessions, allowing attendees to exchange views, share best practices and establish meaningful connections. In addition to panel discussions, attendees can look forward to dynamic networking sessions and captivating keynote speeches delivered by experts in their fields who have shaped the global investment landscape. Additionally, the event will feature the recognition of four leaders through the GOOD (Global Order of Outstanding Disruptors) Fellows Awards. Five private dinners will provide intimate settings for meaningful conversation, while an extravaganza entertainment evening will add a touch of celebration to this exceptional gathering.

The event’s registration is now open. Interested parties can apply for an invitation at fort.global.

Pack nicotine alternatives

Smoking cessation isn’t a one-and-done thing; being out with friends—especially smokers—might exacerbate your cravings. Instead of giving in and asking for a smoke, tobacco-free alternatives can help tamp down those urges. Nicotine pouches are a great product for a night out. Most nicotine pouches come in cans, which allow users to experience nicotine satisfaction on the go. Another great option is nicotine patches, which have been around for decades as a quitting aid. Brands like Habitrol nicotine patches come with two or three-step programs over eight or twelve weeks, gradually lowering the nicotine dose after some time. all images ©
