Lara has role in a new released film Daughter of The Bride. A daughter tries to sabotage her mother's wedding while navigating her own love life and career. The film follows the relationship between the mother-daughter duo Diane (Marcia Gay Harden) and Kate (Halston Sage). Their relationship is shaken up when Diane announces her engagement to Bruce (Aidan Quinn). Meanwhile, Kate finds herself falling in love with her handsome neighbour Josh (Andrew Richardson) until she realises Josh’s college love Maya (Lara Heller) is still on the scene.
