  • Louis Moinet expands unique SAVANNA collection

I Following the successful launch of the first in the series of unique SAVANNA TOURBILLON timepieces. © Louis Moinet Following the successful launch of the first in the series of unique SAVANNA TOURBILLON timepieces, Louis Moinet is continuing its artistic journey by presenting new exceptional creations: SAVANNA TOURBILLON PANDA and SAVANNA TOURBILLON COBRA. The dial in each of these two works is a veritable miniature jigsaw puzzle. Making them demands many highly sought-after skills, like the care and creativity of a virtuosic micro-painter. SAVANNA TOURBILLON - The puzzle dial and micro-painting The 34-millimetre dial of the SAVANNA TOURBILLON implements the puzzle idea in the most accomplished way possible. It is composed of 81 carefully cut-out pieces that are assembled to give life to a majestic tiger. To make the sheer ingenuity of the dial stand out, Les Ateliers Louis Moinet have created four different levels, meaning that some of the pieces are raised by fractions of a millimetre. The decision to do it in this manner made for great complexity. Indeed, the image must flow harmoniously regardless of the angle of vision. To ensure that there are no breaks, the craftsperson has to first take the puzzle apart and then meticulously paint the edges of each piece. He or she will then reassemble the puzzle with great care to make up the final dial. The SAVANNA TOURBILLON dial illustrates perfectly how artisanal and artistic skills in the métiers d’art can be boldly raised to new heights. • King Charles to give opening address at Cop28 in Dubai

King Charles to give opening address at Cop28 climate summit Attendance in UAE confirmed a year after Truss government advised Charles not to attend Egypt event DIOR HC CREATION FOR HER MAJESTY QUEEN CAMILLA during Paris state visit © GettyImages From Caroline DaviesWed 1 Nov 2023 13.34 CET King Charles is to attend the opening ceremony of the Cop28 climate summit in the United Arab Emirates, one year after he was advised by Liz Truss’s government not to attend the Cop27 summit in Egypt. Charles will deliver the opening address at the world climate action summit, a gathering of global leaders at the start of Cop28, in his first major speech on the climate crisis since becoming monarch. Under Liz Truss’s premiership, the king agreed to a request not to attend last year’s summit after Downing Street said it was not the right occasion so soon after his accession, though reports at the time suggested he had been disappointed not to go. Instead, he hosted a pre-summit reception at Buckingham Palace for leading experts. This year, Charles has been given the green light by Downing Street after being invited by the UAE’s president, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and will attend at the request of the UK government from 30 November to 1 December. © Pack nicotine alternatives Smoking cessation isn’t a one-and-done thing; being out with friends—especially smokers—might exacerbate your cravings. • Aston Martin reveals the world’s most bespoke bicycle

I Aston Martin reveals the world’s most bespoke, advanced and meticulously engineered road bicycle © Aston Martin and titanium bicycle leader J.Laverack unite to create an innovative road bicycle handcrafted in the UK exceeding anything seen before · J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R developed by high-performance designers with experience of Aston Martin’s sportscar and hypercar projects · Offering a truly bespoke build for each owner, the world’s first online bicycle configurator offers the exact colours and materials available on Aston Martin’s ultra-luxury, high performance sportscars · The bicycle celebrates the shared passion for cycling that originally introduced Aston Martin’s founders Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford more than 110 years ago · J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R to make its public debut at Rouleur Live in London on Thursday 2 November Aston Martin and British titanium bicycle leader J.Laverack have united to create a road bicycle without equal; the J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R. Developed with input from high-performance automotive designers, the .1R is the most bespoke, most advanced and most engineered bicycle ever created featuring a number of world firsts. Synergising the shared values of the two high performance British brands, Aston Martin and J.Laverack have applied truly innovative design and engineering processes to produce a fully integrated ‘visually boltless’ design that possesses an aesthetic purity and obsession to detail beyond compare. The J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R uses a flawless fusion of parametrically designed, 3D printed titanium lugs and sculpted carbon fibre tubes. This ensures a frame that not only delivers an exceptional blend of response and comfort, but also sets new standards of elegance and beauty on two wheels. The smooth unions of the lugs and tubes are truly innovative and the herringboned weave of the carbon fibre on display is immaculate, despite the intricacy involved in manufacturing. Oliver Laverack, Co-founder of J.Laverack Bicycles, said: “Working with the team at Aston Martin has unlocked new ideas and innovations, the application of which has created a bicycle more advanced than anything currently available on the market. Working in collaboration with Aston Martin we have not only taken our titanium bicycles to new heights but have also unlocked true innovation within the cycling industry, creating a bicycle with unparalleled levels of craftsmanship and performance engineering. Every component is designed to be part of the whole and to marry perfectly with the adjoining elements, achieving an unsurpassed degree of integration, which lays the foundation for the J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R’s boltless design.” The J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R features faultless clean lines, where bicycle owners would normally expect to find fixings at the stem or seat post. The integrated four piston brake calipers are clean sheet design and required the development of bespoke testing equipment. As a result, there is not a single exposed cable or hose visible on the whole bicycle. Applying innovations from outside the normal sphere of bicycles, everywhere you look on the .1R there are new solutions. Developed in collaboration with the most innovative designers from the high-performance automotive world, the .1R not only adopts design mastery from Aston Martin’s supercar and hypercar programmes but also benefits from the pinnacle of road bicycle engineering. Marek Reichman, Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer at Aston Martin, said: “The J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R is essentially a titanium hypercar on two wheels. The simple, clever genius is how we’ve fused the engineering advancements throughout the bike with a purity of performance design to deliver a viscerally exhilarating riding experience. The result is a distinctive form, born through tradition and technology and handcrafted using only the most advanced materials, befitting the pedigrees and forward-thinking natures of our two iconic British companies.” Each owner will be invited to Aston Martin’s headquarters in Gaydon where a full fitting will take place with the founders of J.Laverack, providing limitless opportunity to customise their uniquely personal .1R. Customers can select the exact same colour palettes and trim choices available on Aston Martin’s cars, providing the opportunity to pair car and bike, should they wish to. Meanwhile, everyone will be able to specify their dream version of a .1R courtesy of the integration of the road bicycle into Aston Martin’s multi-award-winning online configurator. As well as the saddle and handlebar tape, this digital tool allows users to individually specify the colour of the tubes, lugs, forks, stem, seat post and handlebar drops. If desired, the carbon fibre can of course be left bare in order to show off the beauty of the material. Accents such as the bottom bracket cups, brake calipers, and the brake disc centres have a special ceramic coating that can be picked out in bronze or muted in black. When a customer then takes delivery of their custom J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R, they will notice that each bike and its components such as hubs, cranks and frame are numbered, forever linking them as part of a whole. The bicycle will also be supplied with its own case, either in aluminium or carbon, which will double as both a travel solution and somewhere to display the .1R appropriately. Each .1R travel case will also include a track pump that matches the bike, featuring Alcantara or leather covered handles, and sits securely inside the protective cases. J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R is not a bicycle simply to be gazed at - it has been purposefully designed with performance and riding experience at the core. For example, the integrated brakes are not merely attractive, the use of four pistons as opposed to the usual two gives greater progression and feel through the levers. The .1R’s frame demonstrates a similar blend of form and function: By using a combination of Ti 6Al/4V titanium, which is known for its lively ride qualities, and carbon fibre to provide the requisite stiffness, the .1R has a responsiveness that will delight everywhere from the rough cobbles of Flanders to the soaring climbs of the Pyrenees. Further evidence that the .1R has been designed for long, enjoyable days in the saddle is manifested in the unparalleled way in which each bike can be tailored to its owner. Although custom fitting isn’t new in the world of bicycles, it is usually more in the realm of made to measure, whereas the J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R is truly bespoke. Typifying this philosophy, each Sphyr stem - named after the hammerhead shark (Sphyrna) - will be 3D printed from titanium to each owner’s unique measurements. Reach and width can all be specified with absolute precision. Continuing in this vein, while crank lengths are generally only available in increments of 2.5mm, the owner of a .1R will be able to specify his or her crank length down to fractions of a millimetre. This is thanks to bespoke, 3D printed titanium tips on the carbon crank arms. The saddle height will be adjusted using a set of beautiful bespoke titanium collars that can be interchanged. Each bicycle will also be supplied with a unique set of tools, that will sit alongside the collars, inside a beautifully handmade wooden tool case. The phrase ‘badge engineering’ has often been associated with collaborative bicycle projects in the past, but the J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R brings a rather different meaning to the expression. Set under the lacquer, the metal badges on this bicycle have truly beautiful engineering behind them. Each one measures just 40 microns thin and employs the same process used on the Aston Martin Valkyrie’s badge, which was dubbed the lace wing. The hypercar’s wheel design can be glimpsed in miniature in the titanium piston caps of the brakes on the bike, while if you inspect the beautifully machined cups on the threaded bottom bracket of the .1R and you will notice parallels with the central wheel nuts on an Aston Martin Valkyrie. Other details include the pierced stem, which artfully mirrors the side strake on an Aston Martin DB12 yet still allows enough room for the internal routing of the brake hoses. The titanium thru axles are also a work of art, with a wall thickness of just 0.7mm in places. And, unlike other bicycles, the end of each axle is hidden on the non-drive side. Customers will be able to choose from any of the three 12-speed groupsets used by professionals in the UCI World Tour. Whether there is a preference for, Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, Campagnolo Super Record Wireless or SRAM RED eTap AXS, the J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R can be built accordingly. The .1R’s bespoke chainrings are machined from aluminium and the sizes can be specified by each owner. The AERA Components Æ|55 wheels are also unique to the .1R, featuring 55mm deep carbon tubeless rims with an internal width of 22mm. They are laced with 28 Sapim CX-Ray spokes that continue a black colour scheme on the wheels, as do the hubs that have been designed specifically for the .1R and are machined to perfection from high strength aerospace aluminium before being finished in a custom brevet black colour way. Continental has even created a 30mm wide special stealth black version of its GP5000S TR tyres, which are the optimal width for the specially made carbon rims and offer a perfect blend of speed and comfort. The C13 saddle from British company Brooks has been specifically commissioned for the .1R. Each saddle can be trimmed in the owners choice of leather or Alcantara, and is finished with a single titanium rivet. The same material choice is available for the handlebar grips, with the full suite of Aston Martin colours on offer. Blend the innovative with the traditional, the sublime beauty and precise functionality of the J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R is something extremely special. Handcrafted in the UK it is a true collaboration between two companies that are at the forefront of their fields. Aston Martin’s founders Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford were brought together through racing bicycles at London’s historic Bath Road Club and there is little doubt that the .1R, the world’s most bespoke, advanced and meticulously engineered bike, is something they would have been thrilled by. The J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R will make its public debut at Rouleur Live in London on Thursday 2 November. A celebration of cycling culture, Rouleur Live is taking place at Truman Brewery, London from Thursday 2 November until Saturday 4 November. • Sennheiser Group grows sustainably and strengthens its position

I Sennheiser Group grows sustainably and strengthens its position in the professional audio market. A conversation about focus on the professional audio business and the future of audio with Dr. Andreas Sennheiser, Co-CEO Sennheiser. Dr.Andreas Sennheiser with Middle East team : MIg Cardamone , Sales Director, Ryan Burr, Head of Technical Applications Engineering and Fadi Costantine, Technical Sales Manager) © Dr. Andreas Sennheiser, during his visit to Dubai, highlighted how The Sennheiser Group was able to further expand its strong position as a provider of professional audio solutions in fiscal year 2022 and grow sustainably on its own. Sales of professional audio solutions increased by 26 percent to 467.7 million euros. This not only enabled the company to meet the targets it had set itself, but also to significantly exceed expectations. The independent family business also used 2022 to make sustainable investments for the future. This was made possible in particular by the sale of the Consumer Business and the associated focus on business with professional customers. One year after announcing its intention to focus exclusively on the Professional Business, the Sennheiser Group can look back on very positive development. Sales of professional audio solutions have grown continuously over the past years – with the exception of the pandemic year, 2020. In 2022, this growth even accelerated. The company was thus able to further expand its strong position as a provider of professional audio solutions. "We have managed to keep up the positive momentum from 2021. Our focus on professional audio solutions has enabled us to grow disproportionately while increasing profitability in a year that, like many other companies, presented us with major macroeconomic challenges," said Co-CEO Dr. Andreas Sennheiser. Particular growth drivers in fiscal year 2022 were the increased demand for professional meeting solutions due to newly emerging formats of hybrid working and learning, as well as the resurgence of the event industry. Sustainable investments in the future "Based on our strategy, we have announced our intention to invest sustainably in the core competencies of the Sennheiser Group. Accordingly, we are building up forces and employees - especially in research and development and at our production sites," says Andreas Sennheiser, Co-CEO Sennheiser. In 2022, the company invested a total of 41.8 million euros in research and development, which corresponds to around 8 percent of total sales. At the same time, R&D was repositioned as a central function within the Sennheiser Group, with the particular aim of being better able to develop the software portfolio and in a more effective way. Digital solutions that offer customers added value through a combination of hardware, software and services are the focus here. Research work was driven forward in the fields of artificial intelligence, cloud processing and future wireless technologies. In parallel, the company is continuing to drive forward the conversion of its entire IT infrastructure with regard to digital business models. Here, Sennheiser has invested more than 4.5 million euros in 2022 and plans further investments in the double-digit millions in the coming years. With the aim of placing the customer even more strongly in the focus of all activities, investments in the harmonization of the ERP landscape, the development of a Group-wide data architecture and the implementation of an agile Service Organization are on the agenda. The Sennheiser Group countered the uncertainties arising from geopolitical developments by investing in its supply chain. "We have constantly developed our supply chains and continuously expanded our own production capacities. This enabled us to be a reliable partner for our customers despite sometimes difficult supply situations. We have been able to meet almost all requirements last fiscal year," he says. Currently, the company is focusing investment on strengthening its own production sites, including at its headquarters in Wedemark and on expanding the plant in Braşov, Romania. A total of 17.8 million euros was invested in these projects in 2022. "We firmly believe that our own production offers significant strategic added value. The challenges in the global supply chains last year confirmed this approach," said co-CEO Dr. Andreas Sennheiser. "In addition, this is the best way for us to ensure the quality of our Sennheiser and Neumann products, which has always distinguished us." One emerging business area is Sennheiser Mobility. "With the increasing importance of electromobility, we are also positioning ourselves as a company in the automotive sector. Our goal: to play a decisive role in shaping the audio experiences of the future in this space," says Dr. Andreas Sennheiser. "Specifically, we see potential in the interaction between the AMBEO immersive audio technology and the Business Communication area: because in the future, the vehicle will also increasingly become the communication center for virtual meetings." "To shape the future of the audio industry, we need the best team in the business. That's why we are continuously investing in our team." Andreas Sennheiser adds: "After all, all the products and services we offer our customers are based on the knowledge, experience and passion of our employees." When asked about the most important areas of investment and key project underway and plans of future, he said ”For us, it is clear that our own production is a strategic added value. On the one hand, this makes us more independent of supply chains, and on the other hand, it also allows us to guarantee the famous Sennheiser and Neumann quality. In recent years, we have invested massively in this area: at the site in Wedemark, we have invested in new automated PCB assembly systems and automated manufacturing methods. In Romania, the expansion of the plant is proceeding as planned. When the project is completed, the plant will be three times as large as it is now.” World Radiocommunication Conference and WMAS When asked about his thoughts on the upcoming World Radiocommunication Conference this year in Dubai, he said “The frequency spectrum is the basis for wireless communication, because without frequency spectrum, there is no radio connection. In this respect, it is important for us that there is enough time for us to plan for it if any changes are to be made here. This is particularly important for our customers, so that they don't have to replace products they have invested in just a few years later. That’s why we are advocating for the longest possible stability. At the moment, there are efforts to obtain mobile radio applications — e.g., public mobile communications or government radio — on the basis of a secondary or co-primary allocation for the TV UHF spectrum. This can lead to significant limitations for wireless microphones and in-ear monitoring solutions. Therefore, it is even more crucial to define sufficiently long transition periods at an early stage and to enter into agreement with the mobile network providers. Together, we must define the rules under which co-primary access to this frequency spectrum will operate in the future. Sennheiser is working alongside audio industry peers to educate the broader wireless community about Wireless Multi-Channel Audio System (WMAS). Learn More about WMAS Technology here https://en-ae.sennheiser.com/wmas Unified Communication As a company that looks back on 75 years of impressive audio success stories in the field of stage and television, we have transferred our high-quality standards and pioneering spirit into the world of collaboration, meetings and learning and are known today as one of the most reliable business partners in the AV industry. Our “creative dissatisfaction” and passion to constantly improve existing solutions characterize all of our outstanding audio solutions. The development of the TeamConnect Family is a good example of our ambition to create products that are intuitively usable, manufacturer-agnostic and audibly better – while offering real problem-solving capabilities. With state-of-the-art technologies on the inside and appealing design on the outside, TeamConnect Ceiling Medium, TeamConnect Ceiling 2, both of the TeamConnect Solutions and the TeamConnect Intelligent Speaker will redefine the expectations of unified communication, hybrid learning and business collaboration experiences. Meet Sennheiser TeamConnect Family Here https://en-ae.sennheiser.com/newsroom/meet-the-teamconnect-family Sustainability and Diversity One topic that is no less crucial for the future of the Sennheiser Group is sustainability, Andreas Sennheiser said “As a family-owned company, Sennheiser has always been very responsible —sustainability and environmental protection are the central issues of our time and we at Sennheiser are meeting this challenge head-on. To shift our goals into action, we have defined four key focus topics, based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in which we can have the greatest impact as a company. On the one hand, there is diversity. Diversity unlocks Sennheiser's creativity, innovation culture, and idea generation. We believe in the uniqueness of people and are convinced that a diverse team achieves better results, has higher innovation power, and makes the company more profitable in the long term. We have already made very good progress in this regard and are gradually becoming an increasingly diverse team. At the same time, however, we want and need to go much further to create an attractive environment for our employees in the future. Furthermore, we focus on our supply chains. There is the upcoming Supply Chain Act, which we are preparing for. Simultaneously, we want to optimize our global supply chain. In the area of climate protection, we measure our carbon footprint and derive clear targets from this, which we then want to measure ourselves against in the future. For example, we are working on sustainable guidelines in regard to business travel and office commute. We have installed solar cells on our own buildings where possible, for example in Romania, which will cover 50% of our local electricity needs with solar cells. The topic of Circular Economy is not just about avoiding waste: we are investing in the longevity of our products and are aligning our new product portfolio with circular principles. We are already well positioned in this respect with our products, some of which have been in use for up to 60 years and are repairable. But we know that there certainly is much more to be done. Specifically, we want to be climate-neutral by 2030. At the moment, we are focusing very strongly on scope one and scope two in order to reduce our carbon footprint there by 25 percent by 2025 with suitable measures. We will then define the measures that will lead to neutrality. Our Business Communication products themselves provide us with a great deal of leverage, because through virtual collaboration and the use of our conference microphones we can also significantly reduce air travel, so that we also make a noteworthy contribution to reducing our footprint in scope three.” Pack nicotine alternatives Smoking cessation isn’t a one-and-done thing; being out with friends—especially smokers—might exacerbate your cravings. Instead of giving in and asking for a smoke, tobacco-free alternatives can help tamp down those urges. Nicotine pouches are a great product for a night out. Most nicotine pouches come in cans, which allow users to experience nicotine satisfaction on the go. Another great option is nicotine patches, which have been around for decades as a quitting aid. Brands like Habitrol nicotine patches come with two or three-step programs over eight or twelve weeks, gradually lowering the nicotine dose after some time. all images © Read our Summer Issue See Haute couture from Dior, Alexis Mabille, Georges Hobeika, Zuhair Murad, Valentino and more Explore Moralmoda Art Culture Lifestyle Travel Business Interviews Events Get in touch About us Contacts Subscribe

  • Tashkeel's Tanween Programme Celebrates a Decade of Creativity at Dubai Design Week 2023

I Tashkeel's Tanween Programme Celebrates a Decade of Creativity at Dubai Design Week 2023 Four new designs to be unveiled at Downtown Design (November 8-11), highlighting sustainable design conceived, created and commercially available in the UAE © Tanween by Tashkeel The Tanween Design Programme is an intensive and competitive annual initiative for designers, artists, engineers, and scientists living and working in the UAE. The program guides participants through research, material experimentation, and mentoring, resulting in the creation of innovative, functional designs made in the UAE. Tanween, led by UAE-based and international design professionals, culminates in the unveiling of sustainable and functional products at Dubai Design Week. Tashkeel – a leading proponent of creativity and innovation – will celebrate a decade of incubating design projects in the UAE through its Tanween design programme, unveiling four new works that have been conceived, created and will now be commercially available at Downtown Design during Dubai Design Week 2023 from November 7-12. Taking centrestage at Downtown Design are the four new sustainable furniture and lighting pieces developed by the latest Tanween cohort: Marwa Abdelrahim, an Abu Dhabi-based architect; Wafa Al Falahi, an Emirati multidisciplinary designer; Chinara Darwish, a former mechanical engineer from Kazakhstan, and Maryam Elattar (a ceramic artist) and Mohamed Elnaggar (an electrical engineer), both from Egypt. Since its inception in 2014, Tanween has trained 36 early-career design professionals, resulting in 49 original furniture and lighting designs both developed and manufactured in the Emirates. Today, 23 of these limited-edition pieces are offered to collectors through Tashkeel's furniture and lighting series, The Tanween Collection. "Tashkeel’s Tanween Design Programme empowers emerging designers to embark on a journey of innovation, guided by a passionate team of design professionals and local manufacturers and makers. With a decade of learning and a range of products now available to collectors, our program has cultivated original, sustainable pieces that underscore the creativity and capability to produce these works right here in the UAE," said Lisa Ball-Lechgar, Deputy Director at Tashkeel. While the forms of the four new Tanween works will be officially revealed during Dubai Design Week, all the designers and their pieces share a common focus on sustainability of materials and the production process, especially pertinent as the UAE prepares to host COP28 in late November. The Mishkah Collection by Marwa Abdelrahim combines traditional lighting techniques from the UAE with 3D printing, incorporating clay as a sustainable material. Wafa Al Falahi’s Roots lighting design pays tribute to her Emirati women ancestors through a combination of steel and biodegradable plastic materials infused with henna. Chinara Darwish used 100 per cent locally sourced, marine industry and construction waste sourced from redundant marine marker buoys, dredging floats, road barriers and water tanks to develop her dining table design, The Alchemy Series that celebrates hospitality and family. The shelving unit/standing desk Doroob, developed by Maryam Elattar & Mohamed Elnaggar, is a triumph of the circular economy, made from reclaimed materials from the UAE’s construction and infrastructure sector as well as pottery studios. A Decade of Creativity and Impact: Tanween’s Tenth Edition In addition to unveiling its latest Tanween cohort at Dubai Design Week, Tashkeel celebrates a decade of design innovation through a series of workshops on Thursday & Friday 9-10 November at the Art Jameel pop-up space in the heart of Dubai Design District to advise emerging designers on issues including commercial licensing, intellectual property protection as well as processes, materials and production aspects of the Made-in-UAE design movement. On Friday 10 November, the Tashkeel initiative Make Works UAE is offering a guided bus tour on of manufacturers, fabricators and suppliers in Al Quoz, while the Tashkeel Makerspace Al Serkal Avenue hosts an Open Day of workshops including printmaking, RISOgraph printing and bookbinding. Cultivating the UAE’s design landscape Tanween's impact extends to supporting UAE design as a social enterprise. All profits from The Tanween Collection sales contribute to the development of local design, benefiting alumni and future participants of the Tanween Design Programme, Tashkeel's premier training initiative for talented UAE-based designers. Notably, the collection has launched sell-out works Moza by Studio MUJU and The Braided Series chair by Lateefa Saeed, designs that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics, reflecting the essence of Emirati culture. A pledge to the environment Additionally, Tanween has been committed to sustainability since its seventh edition in 2020, resulting in the creation of highly sustainable furniture and lighting designs, including those by Reema Al Mheiri, Huda Al Aithan, Sara Abu Farha & Khaled Shalkha, Nuhayr Zein, Khawla Al Balooshi, and Lina Ghalib. These designs exemplify innovative and environmentally responsible approaches, aligning with a vision of a sustainable future. Each piece features an innovative material sourced from the UAE natural environment and developed in partnership with local scientists and fabricators. The materials includes datecrete, leukeather, plypalm, fishscale moulds and ghaf wood. More information can be found at www.tashkeel.org or via social media channels.
