4th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival

Two of the stars of the film Everything Everywhere All At Once made a splash at the 34th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival, which were held at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

Michelle Yeoh and Stephanie Hsu, who played her daughter in the absurdist comedy-drama film, were side-by-side for a series of snaps ahead of the ceremony honoring some of the best in film.

Later in the evening, Yeoh received the International Star Award in recognition of her acclaimed performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once.

Pretty in pink: Hsu, 32, opted to wear a lovely full length pink gown that came complete with rows of ruffles, spaghetti straps and a red bow that was tied around her waist

In an added touch of style, the California native also had a red bow tied around her waist that fell just a couple of feet from the ground.

She finished off her ensemble by having her long dark locks styled in braids and pulled up off her shoulders.

Hsu also had the privilege of saying a few kind words about Yeoh before calling her out on to the stage to receive her award.

In one of the most memorable roles of her career, Yeoh plays Evelyn Wang, a Chinese American woman who is recruited to save the multiverse,’ said Festival Chairman Harold Matzner in a statement. ‘For this film that is a fantastic showcase for Michelle Yeoh, it is our honor to present her with the International Star Award, Actress.’
