A gastronomic milestone that comes in parallel with the recent opening of the Jil Sander boutique, which joins the distinguished list of renowned brands with its first store in Spain, solidifying a year of unprecedented achievements for this iconic luxury gallery.
Located in the central atrium, Galería Canalejas Café is a sumptuous and cozy gastronomic oasis inspired by the architecture of the city's most traditional squares and streets kiosks, with a structure reminiscent of a bygone Madrid, such as the old Quiosco de la Música on the Paseo del Pintor Rosales, and with natural elements that reminds of the city's most emblematic gardens and parks. An evocative space that allows its visitors to step back in time and enjoy the most authentic and literary Madrid, reminiscent of the iconic Madrid cafes of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, such as Café Gijón, Café Comercial, or the now-defunct Café Suizo, meeting places for artists and the Madrid society in the past.
The cafe offers a unique gastronomic experience based on Spanish cuisine and Madrid’s genuine flavors, blending traditional tastes with innovative creations by the renowned pastry chef, Alejandro Montes.

In the field of sweets treats, highlights include the Canalejas Chocolate Bonbon, a 70% Guanaja chocolate shell with crunchy Spanish almond praline, or the La Violeta Petit Four, inspired by the historic neighboring store of Galería Canalejas, a delight of creamy white chocolate with freeze-dried yogurt and crystallized violet petals, and, of course, a reinterpretation of the classic churros and porras for a truly Madrilenian breakfast could not be missed.
Moreover, a special mention must be made of its spectacular signature cocktails, featuring exceptional creations inspired by fashion and haute couture, such as the Blazer cocktail with pink gin, white vermouth, violet, and floral bitter, an essential drink inspired by a fashion must-have. And of course, a tribute to Madrid is a must with the Castizo cocktail, made with brandy, horchata, and roasted chestnut, few sensations are as authentically Madrid as the smell of roasted chestnuts on the city's streets.
In addition to Galería Canalejas Café's offers, an extensive coffee menu supplied by Supracafé, an ecological and fair-trade coffee produced entirely
by the Association of Women Coffee Growers of Cauca in Colombia, which has become a benchmark of quality and sustainability.
