Louis Vuitton partners with Paris+ par Art Basel

During Paris+ par Art Basel opening to the public on October 20-22, 2023, Louis Vuitton will continue its long-standing commitment to art by presenting a curated selection of creative collaborations and original artworks from leading international artists. The Maison also unveils the fifth Artycapucines collection.

The Louis Vuitton exhibition area at the Grand Palais Éphémère was designed in the form of an oversized trunk from the Maison. The stand's exterior is inspired by Pharrell Williams' Copper Malle Courrier, which was presented on the runway for his debut men's collection. The interior walls of the stand feature the iconic Malle pattern, which has lined the inside of suitcases since Louis Vuitton was founded in 1854. The exhibition space is the perfect showcase for the curated works of world-renowned artists, including bag and canvas collaborations by Takashi Murakami, reworked one-of-a-kind travel bags by Damien Hirst and the Roses Monogram Alma bag by Stephen Sprouse.

Other original works on display include three paintings by Richard Prince, one by Takashi Murakami, a circular portrait of a young Louis Vuitton by Yan Pei-Ming, and an AI data image titled Finding LV by Refik Anadol. Also on view are seven new works by Yayoi Kusama, exhibited for the first time, each titled Every Day I Pray For Love.

Artycapucines

As part of Paris+ par Art Basel, the Maison is unveiling five new additions to the now iconic Artycapucines collection. Since 2019, leading international artists - including Daniel Buren, Urs Fischer, Donna Huanca, Vik Muniz, Park Seo-Bo, Tschabalala Self, Kennedy Yanko and Zhao Zhao - have been able to bring their unique creative visions to the empty pocket model. The five new bags on display at Paris+ par Art Basel are from Ewa Juszkiewicz, Liza Lou, Tursic & Mille, Ziping Wang and Billie Zangewa. After successfully participating in last year's Paris+ par Art Basel, Louis Vuitton is proud to become a Global Associate Partner of Art Basel in 2023. This additional support underlines the house's close and committed relationship with art. Starting October 13, the Louis Vuitton City Guide app will offer a new Parisian contemporary art walking route, which also includes a stop at Paris+ par Art Basel: LOUIS VUITTON CITY GUIDE in the App Store (apple.com) www.louisvuitton.com

Pack nicotine alternatives

Smoking cessation isn’t a one-and-done thing; being out with friends—especially smokers—might exacerbate your cravings. Instead of giving in and asking for a smoke, tobacco-free alternatives can help tamp down those urges. Nicotine pouches are a great product for a night out. Most nicotine pouches come in cans, which allow users to experience nicotine satisfaction on the go. Another great option is nicotine patches, which have been around for decades as a quitting aid. Brands like Habitrol nicotine patches come with two or three-step programs over eight or twelve weeks, gradually lowering the nicotine dose after some time. all images ©
