  • Jaeger-LeCoultre hosts private concert during the Shanghai International Film Festival

Continuing to expand its cultural universe, Jaeger-LeCoultre announces the latest instalment in its Made of Makers programme: a new collaboration with the ground-breaking British musician TØKIO M¥ERS. Expanding the Dialogue Between Watchmaking and the Arts Through a series of collaborations with artists, designers and craftsmen from disciplines outside watchmaking, Made of Makers explores and extends the dialogue that naturally exists between horology and art. The programme focuses on artists who share Jaeger-LeCoultre’s values of creativity, expertise and precision, with nature at its core, exploring new forms of artistic expression through different and often unexpected materials and media. Like the watchmakers of La Grande Maison, these artists and innovators have a deep respect for the past as their creative foundation and a springboard for their trailblazing work. To date, Made of Makers has embraced the worlds of contemporary art and gastronomy and, through the new collaboration with TØKIO M¥ERS, adds music to the portfolio. A Rising International Star with a Unique Style A pianist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, TØKIO M¥ERS has become celebrated for his experimental approach to classical music. An artist of immense range and dynamic power, his highly original approach to creating and performing music has established him as one of the most exciting artists to emerge in recent years. A musical alchemist, TØKIO M¥ERS fuses the classics with cinematic, hip-hop, dance, ‘90s soul and other influences to create his own inimitable sound and shatter the boundaries between genres. His approach to his work has close parallels with that of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s watchmakers: using tradition as his creative foundation, he harnesses the craft and discipline of his classical music training in order to take it in new directions. As with watchmaking at La Grande Maison, TØKIO M¥ERS’ work is highly sophisticated, and anchored in deep technical complexity. He designs and produces his own live performances, capturing the visual potential of music and pushing it to new limits with lighting and pyrotechnics. Visually spectacular and emotionally absorbing, his work is redefining what classical music can be. A New Composition inspired by the Spirit of the Manufacture Under the aegis of Made of Makers, Jaeger-LeCoultre has commissioned TØKIO M¥ERS to compose a soundtrack exclusively for the Maison’s Golden Ratio Musical Show. The spectacular 10-minute sound-and-light show – projected onto a giant screen of falling water – tells the story of the Golden Ratio in four chapters, from its presence in nature, to the scientific examination of its mystical properties; and from its ubiquity in timeless architecture and art to its impact on contemporary design. TØKIO M¥ERS says that he wrote his new piece "with the explicit intention of amplifying the emotional impact of the digital projection" and describes the work as "a short symphony in four chapters, or movements, that takes the listener on a powerful journey". Like all Made of Makers artists, TØKIO M¥ERS has visited the #Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture in the Vallée de Joux, absorbing the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape, and spending time with the watchmakers and artisans. A Shanghai Debut followed by a World Tour TØKIO M¥ERS will give the first performance of his new composition at a private event hosted by Jaeger-LeCoultre during the #Shanghai International #Film #Festival on June 9. The show will then travel to Los Angeles on June 22, London in September, followed by Dubai at the end of the year. Conceived by Jaeger-LeCoultre as part of its wider mission to bring inspiring and original experiences of the world of watchmaking to audiences around the world, The Golden Ratio Musical Show is an opportunity to discover the story of the Reverso in entirely new ways. The show will be staged in the 1931 Cinema, a specially designed setting inspired by the world’s first Drive-In Cinema, which – like the Reverso – was created at the height of the Art Deco period. The 1931 Cinema follows the creation two years ago of the 1931 Café, which is a feature of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s major events and exhibitions around the world. • Hauser & Wirth Zurich hosts two American artists; Cindy Sherman and Roni Horn

Cindy Sherman, considered one of the important American artists of her generation, will debut new work this June at Hauser & Wirth Zurich, Limmatstrasse, coinciding with Zurich Art Weekend 2023. Coming to prominence in the late 1970s with the Pictures Generation group alongside artists such as Sherrie Levine, Richard Prince and Louise Lawler, Sherman studied art at Buffalo State College in 1972 where she turned her attention to photography. In 1977, shortly after moving to New York, Sherman began her critically acclaimed Untitled Film Stills—touchstones of contemporary art that continue to inspire and influence the course of art and image-making. Cindy Sherman Untitled #648 2023 Gelatin silver print 101.6 x 79 cm / 40 x 31 1/8 in Using a range of costumes, props and backdrops to manipulate her own appearance and to create photographs resembling promotional film images, the series explores the tension between artifice and identity in consumer culture, which has preoccupied the artist’s practice ever since. Since the early 2000s, Sherman has continued to channel and reconstruct familiar personas known to the collective psyche with the addition of CGI, capturing the fractured sense of self in modern society which the artist has uniquely encapsulated from the outset of her career. In new works on view in Zurich, the artist collages parts of her own face to construct the identities of various sitters, using digital manipulation to accent the layered aspects and plasticity of the self. The exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue by Hauser & Wirth Publishers. This exhibition of new work in Zurich will coincide with two museum shows by the artist: ‘Cindy Sherman – Tapestries’ at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum, Denmark, and ‘Cindy Sherman: Anti-Fashion’ at Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, Germany. • DOXA releases the new SUB 300T inspired by renowned Clive Cussler

In Honor of the Brand’s Longtime Inspiration, Famed Maritime Explorer, and Novelist Clive Cussler, DOXA is Proud to Introduce a Special Edition Watch in His Name DOXA releases the new SUB 300T inspired by internationally recognized author, maritime explorer, as well as founder of the National Underwater and Marine Agency, Clive Cussler Available from May 18th, 2023, at select retailers, and the e-shop on the official DOXA website. DOXA is channeling its adventurous spirit through the fictional world of Clive Cussler. The acclaimed American adventure novelist wrote over 85 books, selling over 100 million copies, and discovered scores of shipwrecks through the non-profit agency he founded called, NUMA. Cussler’s books have been adapted to the big screen twice; Raise of the Titanic (1980) and Sahara (2005). Cussler’s novels were highly influential in spotlighting DOXA to the world, its famous orange dial was monumental in coming to renowned fictional adventure hero, Dirk Pitt’s aid, enabling the adventurer to read the time accurately while diving on his deadline driven missions. Just as Cussler’s novels explored historical mysteries and transported characters on epic quests, the celebrated author, explorer and personal DOXA wearer, inspired DOXA to reimagine the SUB 300T, which now introduces an artistic and historical look to the series. The SUB 300T Clive Cussler stays true to the collection’s core characteristics while remaining highly distinctive. With an original handmade dial evoking a vintage compass, and the use of an aged steel appearance applied to the watch, bracelet, clasp, and pin buckle, the watch is intended to have a weathered look, perfect to be featured on the wrists of adventurers in one of Cussler’s novels. This timepiece’s aged effect is a reflection of a nautical artifact’s journey and the conditions it endured during its time submerged in the depth. This watch is not just a timepiece; it’s a symbol of adventure and discovery, a reminder of the mysteries that lie beneath the waves and the treasures waiting to be uncovered. Each timepiece is discreetly and individually engraved with its own exclusive number on the side of the bezel, indicating its uniqueness and authenticity. With a faceted, structured 42mm diameter case, this watch features a special design that captures the Cussler identity and commemorates the author’s birthday (July 15th, 1931), as the dates 7, 15, and 31 are displayed in red on the dial. Whether worn on land or at sea, this watch is a statement of the fearless spirit of exploration and the enduring spirit of adventure. “Cussler’s internationally famed novels were a natural platform for DOXA watches, highlighting them as essential tools for his heroic characters. DOXA’s famous orange dial dive watch continues to be a fixture for his fictional adventure hero Dirk Pitt, accompanying him on his many daredevil adventures under the sea.” Jan Edöcs, CEO of DOXA “Bold. Creative. Adventurous. It was how my father approached life. Whether searching for historic shipwrecks or formulating tales of adventure, he was always original and always unique. Sentiments that are perfectly captured in this DOXA watch that bears his name. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to DOXA for honoring my father’s legacy with a watch that exemplifies his courage, originality, and love of exploration.” Dirk Cussler, Author and son of Clive Cussler Clive Cussler and DOXA share a mutual passion for adventure and maritime exploration, and a relation that started decades ago with an orange dial DOXA dive watch. To honor this storied connection, a percentage of sales from this special edition Clive Cussler watch will be donated to NUMA, the National Underwater and Marine Agency Cussler founded in 1979. DOXA is proud to continue supporting NUMA through this long-term relationship with the SUB 300T Clive Cussler watch, which celebrates the shared passion for adventure and maritime exploration between Clive Cussler, his son Dirk, and DOXA. Additionally, the names of shipwrecks and other historical artifacts that have been discovered or surveyed by NUMA up to 2022 are engraved on the back of the SUB 300T Clive Cussler case. Each timepiece comes with an extra NATO beige strap. An additional black FKM rubber strap with an aged stainless steel coating folding clasp is available for purchase. To celebrate the launch, DOXA will be holding a special event at a private club in #Manhattan. #Doxawatches #YourCallToAdventure AIM Global 2023 will shed light on the global investment scene and the need to formulate mechanisms and strategies that promote sustainable and green investment choices. We are proud to be trusted by family owners with timepieces, completely fresh to market, that are of great history.” Lot 44 – (Top image left) Fresh to market and from the family of the original owner, this Patek Philippe Nautilus model Ref. 3700/1, belonged to a successful businessman, dedicated philanthropist, and a true hero to his family. Born in Italy in the early 1920s, the original owner of this piece grew up in a quiet town in Sardinia. When the Second World War broke out, like many young men of his generation, he joined the fight against Mussolini's regime in the Alps. Following the war, having lost most of his family, he decided to study industrial design and left Europe to embark for South America. There he joined a company in the leather business, and having spent many years designing and consulting for different tanneries, he was gifted this Patek Philippe in recognition of his dedication and loyalty. Proudly enjoyed over the subsequent decades, this watch developed a distinctive ‘tropical’ patina under the South American sun. Parts of the silvered blue dial have become golden and sparkle in the light, further evoking the timepiece’s nautical quintessence, as the sun’s rays reflect off the ocean. The dial is also signed by famed retailer Gübelin, adding to the incredible rarity and desirability of this complete-set wristwatch. (Est: US$ 100,000-200,000) Lot 40 – (Top image right) Also fresh to market and from the family of the original owner, this Audemars Piguet is one of the earliest known Ref. 5554/25554ST Royal Oaks to be publicly offered. Its number: 21. The ‘Extract from the Archives’ confirms the watch was purchased on the 6th of June, 1984. With a case measuring 39mm in a diameter, it is incredibly slim at just 7.5mm, which makes this watch the thinnest Royal Oak Quantième Perpétuel produced to this day. Being the first of its kind, the silver dial on this model eschews a leap year indicator, providing a balanced, uniform aesthetic complementing the beguiling, multi-faceted case. Powering the timepiece is the Audemars Piguet ultra-thin calibre 2120/2800, often regarded as one of the most innovative and impressive movements ever created. The present lot is a wonderful opportunity to own a legendary timepiece that reimagined and revitalised the world of luxury watches. (Est: US$ 150,000-250,000)All pieces included in the Live sale will be displayed for public viewing during Christie’s Luxury Marquee week at the Rockefeller Center between June 2nd and June 5th. Watches Online: The New York Edit Online Auction | 30 May – 9 June 2023 | 118 lots | Low Estimate US$ 1 Million Clockwise, from left to right: Rolex Ref. 3759 Cellini, Rolex Ref. 16528 Daytona “Zenith”, Rolex Ref. 116610LV Submariner “Hulk”, Patek Philippe Ref. 5396/1G-001, Hermès Ref. AR1.890F Arceau L’Heure De La Lune, Rolex Ref. 277200 Oyster Perpetual. • Charles Zuber inaugurates its first boutique worldwide

Charles Zuber is back in Abu Dhabi this time in its own proper boutique - the brand's first worldwide - at the Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi. ‘It is with great pride that we rekindle the legacy of Charles Zuber here in the UAE with this first boutique in Abu Dhabi. We could not have imagined a better setting for sharing our deep passion for Swiss high horology and jewelry,’ said Mohamed Hilal, founding partner of Charles Zuber. Following the brand’s much-noticed appearance at Watches & Wonders in Geneva just a few weeks ago in April, Charles Zuber is today opening its first boutique worldwide at the exclusive Yas Mall on Abu Dhabi’s fabled Yas Island. This exciting milestone marks a major step in Charles Zuber’s journey, establishing a presence for the brand in a captivating destination for watch and jewelry enthusiasts in the United Arab Emirates and beyond – and sets a strong signal as the brand’s business development strategy gains momentum. The Charles Zuber boutique opened its doors to the public for a cocktail reception hosted from 5 to 9 pm. At the red-carpet event, guests were invited on an immersive “walk-through” experience to discover the brand’s rich history. The opening celebration was held under the auspices of HE Massimo Baggi, Ambassador of Switzerland to the UAE & Bahrain, alongside Mr. Mohamed Hilal, one of the 3 founding partners of Charles Zuber, and Sabrina Bergopsom, managing director of Charles Zuber. The evening was also honored by the presence of the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry, H.E. Mohammed Hilal Al Muhairi. Guests were able to discover all of the Maison’s latest watch creations, including the Perfos Karl – dazzling with its rose gold case set with baguette cut orange sapphires – and the elegantly minimalist Perfos 36mm with brilliant cut diamonds all over the bezel. Charles Zuber’s high watchmaking art, ‘the provocative beauty of simplicity’, is now on permanent display in the United Arab Emirates. An ideal location for a promising commercial strategy For its first boutique worldwide, Charles Zuber has chosen the Middle East, specifically Yas Mall, the exclusive retail destination established in 2014 on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island. Yas Island has become one of the region’s most popular family-friendly entertainment hubs and an international venue in its own right, known throughout the world. The Island's status as a tourist destination, its high-end residential community, proximity to luxury hotels, hosting of international events, excellent connections (between Dubai and Abu Dhabi), and thriving luxury retail ecosystem all make it an attractive, strategic location for Charles Zuber. Opening a store on Yas Island provides unparalleled exposure, access to affluent customers, and a platform to establish a strong presence in the luxury market in this part of the world. "We are absolutely delighted to open our very first brand boutique to the world, and what better place to do so than in the vibrant city of Abu Dhabi," said Sabrina Bergopsom, managing director. "The boutique is ideally situated between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, in a location that bridges both international tourism and local market flair. Yas Mall, known for its unmatched luxury retail offerings, provides the perfect backdrop for us to showcase our brand's exceptional craftsmanship and dedication to perfection. We are excited to invite our esteemed clients and watch enthusiasts to explore the world of Charles Zuber,” she adds. First reveal of the 2023 creations after Watches & Wonders The Charles Zuber boutique totals 70 square meters (over 700 square feet) in a prime location at the mall, on the ground floor of the high-end wing, alongside Montblanc, TAG Heuer, Al Manara International Jewellery and Time Vallee - just to name a few of the exclusive brands in the vicinity. The façade of the Charles Zuber boutique is “a dialogue between the history of Charles Zuber himself and the modernity of the collection”, in other words an invitation to discover the brand’s collections, all of which will be commercialized here, including the new creations introduced in 2023. This includes the ‘highlight’ of the inaugural event: the luminous Perfos Karl, a watch bathed in light, entirely hand-skeletonized by one of Geneva’s last watchmaking craftsmen to practice his art in the traditional way, Cédric Johner. The new boutique will be a home-away-from-home for the complete timepieces and jewelry collections, in addition to exclusive, limited ‘boutique’ editions. Not only watch connoisseurs and collectors, but also those who have not yet had the opportunity to discover Charles Zuber, may look forward to experiencing the sophisticated elegance of the brand’s exquisite watchmaking and jewelry creations at the new boutique in Abu Dhabi. • Judy Green: Approach to Cultivating Confidence in Women's Lifestyle

The Judy Green brand is founded upon a lifestyle philosophy, rather than simply catering to fashion trends. It was established in 2017 by Tatiana Savritskaya, a highly accomplished businesswoman who spent five years in Italy studying design, art history, and painting. Upon returning to Moscow, Tatiana pursued her childhood dream of creating the Judy Green fashion brand. Judy Green's clothing is designed for women who are self-sufficient, unique, and stand out from the crowd. At bohemian receptions, a woman donning a Judy Green outfit will be the center of attention not due to her social status, but rather due to the impression she makes on others. Tatiana's collections are intended to inspire daily self-expression and transformation. The "From morning till night" collection tells the story of a successful woman for whom clothing is a means of expressing herself throughout the day, every day. This theme is present throughout all of Judy Green's collections. Judy Green's clothing is not only stylish, but also comfortable and confidence-boosting. It is perfect for capturing life's most precious moments while feeling at ease in any setting. • Maurice Lacroix unveils the new PONTOS S Diver

Maurice Lacroix unveils suitably the new PONTOS S Diver in Dubrovnik - one of the most waterpolo mad cities in the world and also famous for its Wild League Maurice Lacroix launch of the new PONTOS S Diver watch in Dubrovnik, Croatia. What a great time in Croatia, where the sea is transparent and turquoise, with a breathtaking preservation of the marine environment! Maurice Lacroix launched the new PONTOS S Diver watch, with the presence of more than 150 guests, clients, friends of the brand and media in Dubrovnik, Croatia on 25 May. Revisiting the iconic first-generation model designed in 2013, the Jura-based brand has created a divers’ watch incorporating numerous enhancements while still retaining the spirit of the inaugural model. Maurice Lacroix launch of the new PONTOS S Diver watch in Dubrovnik, Croatia. During the development phase, the Swiss marque turned to ML Crew member, Lidija Lijić, (below) a world champion freediver who holds the record for staying underwater for 5 minutes and 43 seconds. The Croatian athlete Lidija Lijic was also present during this launch. A very good opportunity for the guests to discuss with her about exploring deep oceans and to learn more about the art of apnea. In 2013, Maurice Lacroix released its first generation PONTOS S Diver. However, a few years later, the Jura-based brand ceased producing the model in order to focus its attention on making the highly successful #AIKON. Subsequently, the company received numerous requests for the divers’ watch to be reissued. Acceding to these requests, Maurice Lacroix is pleased to unveil a new version of the PONTOS S Diver that incorporates a number of improvements while still retaining the spirit of the inaugural model. Indeed, while this model is new, it subscribes to the same proven design language and perpetuates the brand’s fondness for urban-inspired styling. Moreover, consistent with other Maurice Lacroix creations, the new #PONTOS S Diver is expertly crafted in the company’s Swiss Manufacture and delivers high perceived value: #MauriceLacroix believes that some things should never change! Stéphane Waser, Managing Director of Maurice Lacroix remarks, “We are very happy to be here in Dubrovnik, with Lidija Lijić, for the launch of this new PONTOS S Diver. Lidija helped us by testing this model and exploring its full potential underwater. I am always impressed by her determination as well as her insatiable curiosity. She’s afraid of nothing and is constantly surpassing herself. She is a perfect ambassador for our new diving watch”. Lidija Lijić added “With my education in engineering, I like to understand how things work, and testing the new PONTOS S Diver was a fascinating challenge for me. The watch ideally suited to underwater exploration, but this is also the perfect accompaniment to city life. I am very happy to be part of Maurice Lacroix team because I think we share the same values. The thing I appreciate the most is that they are not only highlighting success but the road to success which is the way more important. Having a partner like that gives you strength specially in the moment of doubt, because this is when you really need someone.” About the PONTOS S Diver Housed in a 42mm case and water resistant to 30 ATM, the PONTOS S Diver is available in a choice of stainless steel or, for the first time, bronze. The hour and minute hands are facetted and lined with Super-LumiNova®. Moreover, the minute hand is endued with a coloured border. The hours are denoted with applied indexes and, once again, lined with luminescent treatment. Subtle changes to the original dial design include making the indexes and minute markings crisper and more prominent. Likewise, the date is framed with a raised border, making it stand out from the rest of the dial. Each detail is optimised to deliver peerless readability. A dedicated crown, positioned at 2 o’clock, provides the wearer with the means to adjust the internal rotating bezel. Featuring a count-up scale, the rotating bezel is a useful way of measuring the elapsed time spent underwater. The watch also features a centre seconds hand and a date display at 6 o’clock. A second crown, located at 3 o’clock, adjusts the various indications and can also be used to manually wind the movement. This latest PONTOS S Diver is offered in a number of variants. Steel models come with a choice of black grained or white lacquered dial options. The bronze model, limited to just 500 pieces, is paired with a sumptuous blue grained dial. The aforementioned crown at 2 o’clock is enlivened with a colour-coordinating circlet, ensuring it remains visible when underwater. The automatic ML115 calibre sits at the heart of the PONTOS S Diver, obviating the need for manual winding when worn. The bronze version comes supplied with two straps, one in vintage dark blue leather, incorporating the company’s M-logo, and a second in dark blue rubber embossed with ‘Maurice Lacroix’. For the launch, the steel models are supplied with three colour-coordinating straps: an M-branded fabric strap and two rubber straps incorporating Maurice Lacroix branding, presented in relief. The watch is equipped with the company’s Easy Strap Exchange System, providing a simple, user-friendly means of swapping the strap for an alternative without the need for tools. Recommended retail price For steel models: CHF 1'900.- For bronze model, limited to 500 pieces: CHF 2’530.- AIM Global 2023 will shed light on the global investment scene and the need to formulate mechanisms and strategies that promote sustainable and green investment choices.
