  • Le Rhöne will celebrate its 10th birthday at Geneva Watch Week

For the first time, two great names, the Cercle des Horlogers and Agenhor, have come together on a joint engineering project whose aesthetic is the brainchild of renowned Swiss designer Eric Giroud. All images courtesy of Le Rhöne Watches: Exclusive Swiss High Watchmaking (lerhone.com) The reflection of a world where creativity and excellence are the rule. True to the LE RHÖNE spirit, the quintessence of the values and know-how developed by the Swiss watch brand over 10 years, the Horölogy “10th Anniversary" was designed by Swiss designer Eric Giroud and comes with a QP Tourbillon Retrograde movement conceived and developed in collaboration with two of the most prestigious Swiss watchmaking ateliers, Le Cercle des Horlogers and Agenhor, who are for the first time joining forces on a horological project. Le Rhöne MOON Aventurine an exclusive in-house complication comes to light with the contrasts of the blue or black cosmic dial rotating on the top of the moon. This disk is crafted of a mother-of-pearl or silver texturized and surrounded by a SuperLuminova star studded sky. Learn more about Moön traceability Since 2013, Le Rhöne has defined itself as a creative and independent brand of Haute Horlogerie, accessible to an active and dynamic clientele, with a style, both sporty and contemporary chic, known for its refined finishes. Le Rhöne distinguishes itself not only by its unique complications and instantly recognizable design, the brand is also known for the supreme quality and reliability of its watches. From Porrentruy to Geneva, 100% of the components – case, movement, dial, finishes, bracelet – are all designed and entirely manufactured in French-speaking Switzerland. 10 years, the blink of an eye in the grand scheme of things, the age of a child in full development – in just a decade, Le Rhöne has established itself as a brand appreciated by for its original style and signature elegance. Le Rhöne MOON Aventurine At Geneva Watch Week 2023, to celebrate its first 10 years of existence, Le Rhöne unveils a remarkable Anniversary piece: a perpetual calendar tourbillon timepiece made of platinum and titanium, a special execution within the HORÖLOGY collection, Le Rhöne’s dedicated realm for Complications watches. Less is more... New case, new dimensions – the spirit of Le RHÖNE is strong in this Anniversary timepiece, inaugurating a new design developed in collaboration with the famous Swiss designer Eric Giroud. Understatement was the watchword throughout the conception of the timepiece, with its measured, refined and discreet design contrasting with the imposing diameter of a 45mm case and the complexity of the movement hinted at inside. Whilst symbolizing the quintessence of Le Rhöne's design and technical codes, Horölogy “10th Anniversary” modernizes the collection’s aesthetic. For instance, the bezel as such now disappears into the case, becoming an integral part of it along the entire profile line, expressing a continuous harmony, as well as an elegant and refined smoothness. A larger dial aperture Proceeding further, though the bezel is gone, its presence subtly persists and can be inferred from the shape of the dial which now benefits from a larger visual space. The whole gains in openness, clarity, amplitude and purity! An aesthetic direction that already foreshadows the work of Le Rhöne’s design team in the future. From a profile perspective, the construction of five superimposed elements presents a perfectly balanced unit, giving it a fluid line and particularly satisfying ergonomics. Thus, while its volume – not least due to a 45mm diameter – may seem imposing, the perception is quite different when the watch is on the wrist. Using an upper shell and two complex curved cover plates of platinum sandwiching the titanium case (to make the whole lighter), the designer’s approach reveals a three-dimensional depth of character. Behind the minimalistic appearance, the whole proves particularly complex, with polished and satin finishes playing off each other and subtly bringing out the different materials and textures but also the horological functions. Remarkable readability The dial on the watch is pure, refined in its simplicity, and particularly elegant. The color is a deep, smooth, dark midnight blue with a velvety opaline texture that contrasts with the alternating white and gray silvered decal indications and the Le Rhöne signature in the form of a small, hexagonal, satin-finished gold plate with polished bevels in the center. Le Rhöne’s signature hour and minute hands, evoking a sword, have been revisited for a thinner and more contemporary look. Faceted and with polished bevels as well, both are satin-finished on their upper surface and feature a central vein of midnight blue Super-LumiNova™. As a result, the whole plays with light and its reflections, offering more contrast for easy legibility. The indexes give way to twelve tubes, conduits rather, filled at the upper section with Super-LumiNova™; around the edge of the dial, an elegant minute track, complemented by a matte black flange to accentuate the sense of visual depth. The whole is well balanced spatially and the indications easy to read. The hands move deliberately across the dial and are adjusted for accurate reading. The fonts are decidedly contemporary. On the left side, the days of the week are displayed in an arc; this is mirrored on the right side by an arc indicating the date. At noon, a smaller discreet arc indicates the month of the year as well as leap years. At 6 o’clock, the flying tourbillon cage with its three stylized R’s; it rotates in 60 seconds. The details are subtle and discreet. The dial is easy to read and simple to use. It is perfect for those who seek a classic and timeless look. Finally, the right-handed crown, which has also been redesigned, features a midnight blue rubber insert to comfortably wind the watch; it elegantly echoes the dial. For the first time, the brand's propeller-shaped symbol with its three stylized R’s – found on all moving parts (tourbillon, oscillating weight) of Le Rhöne watches – is also emblazoned on its profile. The strap, which reinforces the sport chic character of the watch, is made of rubber, also tone-on-tone with the dial, and stands out by its skillful workmanship; in harmony with the lines of the case, combining strength and comfort. A movement whose every angle is patiently finished by hand While the 303-component movement is finished to the highest standards of Haute Horlogerie, its resolutely contemporary architecture is revealed by a rhodium-plated, stylized Le Rhöne micro-rotor that occupies only one third of the movement, allowing the beautiful mechanism to be admired in full. The decoration is microblasted while the bridges are patiently beveled by hand. The colors of the movement are of particular interest, shades of grey anthracite, the dominant shade of ruthenium, accentuating the modernity of its architecture. And because the Horölogy “10th Anniversary” Tourbillon QP Retrograde is primarily designed to be worn by a modern and active clientele, it comes with a comfortable power reserve of about 72 hours. It is also water resistant to 3 ATM, about 30 meters (close to 100 feet). Ultimately, the Horölogy Tourbillon QP Retrograde is a celebration of savoir-faire, expertise, human genius, the master’s instinctive hand gesture; an understated and contemporary aesthetic combined with great technical mastery, one that remains both discreet and graspable. Le Rhöne celebrates its 10th Anniversary! When the independent Swiss brand Le Rhöne was born in 2013, its two founders Loïc Florentin and Timo Rajakoski (who met on the school benches in Venezuela) nurtured a vision of creative Haute Horlogerie for a very discerning, more dynamic clientele. Renowned for timepieces that are 100% manufactured in French-speaking Switzerland (case, movement, bracelet, including sapphire crystals and all components), Le Rhöne has held the COSC precision certification for its entire production since 2019 (except for the complications). The Horölogy collection, which was launched in 2018 and encompasses Le Rhöne’s suite of grand complication timepieces, is one of the brand’s five flagship collections, along with Moön, Röad Racer, Hedönia and Vöyage. Its design is fully in line with the brand’s range of creations; it speaks to a dynamic and active audience of connoisseurs who enjoy a refined yet casual lifestyle. The anniversary model, even though it is limited to only 10 pieces, may be the gateway for an modern clientele to enter the exclusive world of complications. • Rolls-Royce Motor Cars debuts Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow Collection the last V12 coupé

Rolls-Royce Bespoke has celebrated its most successful year in the marque’s 118-year history. Clients from around the world explored the virtually limitless possibilities of Bespoke personalisation, resulting in a record total value of commissions for a single year. The final examples of Wraith, the most powerful Rolls-Royce in history, presented today in a Collection of 12 cars celebrates Wraith, which transformed perceptions of Rolls-Royce. It is also the last V12 coupé the marque will ever build ahead of its all-electric future. Introduces Gradient Paint, one of the most complex surface finishes Rolls-Royce has ever produced Design concept inspired by Thunderbolt, which set world land speed records in the 1930s Incorporates illuminated Thunderbolt Speedform between front seats Record-breaking Bespoke Starlight Headliner, featuring 2,117 fibre-optic ‘stars’ Each interior door panel made of 320 marquetry pieces to create dramatic, tactile surface Debuts new ‘Club Leather’ interior surface treatment Rolls-Royce Motor Cars today unveils Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow to mark the end of production of one of the most transformative motor cars in the marque’s history. This Bespoke masterpiece, limited to just 12 examples worldwide, is also the last V12 coupé Rolls-Royce will ever make, as it embarks on its bold new electric era. “Wraith is one of the most significant and influential cars we have ever made at Goodwood. Its extraordinary power, performance and presence opened the Rolls-Royce brand to an entirely new group of clients. It created its own following within contemporary culture and then expanded that further in its alternative Black Badge guise. As the last examples of this landmark motor car get ready to leave Goodwood, we commemorate Wraith’s status as the last series V12 coupé we will ever make.” Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Rolls-Royce Motor Cars today unveils Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow to mark the end of production of one of the most transformative motor cars in the marque’s history. This Bespoke masterpiece, limited to just 12 examples worldwide, is also the last V12 coupé Rolls-Royce will ever make, as it embarks on its bold new electric era. WRAITH: A CULTURAL ICON Launched in 2013, Wraith is one of the most important and influential models ever designed and built at Goodwood. More performance-focused than its predecessors Phantom and Ghost, Wraith fundamentally altered perceptions of Rolls-Royce and brought new, younger customer groups to the brand for the first time. Its wider cultural significance is underlined by countless references to the Wraith in music, cinema, art and fashion. THE V12 CONNECTION Wraith’s dramatic ‘fastback’ silhouette signalled the motor car’s dynamic intent, which was further amplified in 2016, with the introduction of Black Badge Wraith: a potent, subversive and even more powerful expression of this transformative motor car, offering some of the highest levels of performance ever achieved by a V12-powered Rolls-Royce. Yet when considering how best to mark the end of the Wraith era, Goodwood’s designers and engineers took inspiration for the Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow Collection from an equally significant V12 in Rolls-Royce’s long and storied legacy. In 1938, Captain George Eyston – whose bold, brave endeavours encapsulate the Black Badge spirit - set a world land speed record of 357.497 mph (575.335 km/h) with Thunderbolt, a seven-tonne, eight-wheeled leviathan equipped with two Rolls-Royce V12 'R' Series aero engines. The outbreak of the Second World War in the following year ended Eyston’s endeavours; all subsequent records have been set with different engine types and configurations, enshrining Thunderbolt in perpetuity as the fastest V12-powered motor car ever built. Thunderbolt’s record attempts took place on the legendary Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. Against the glare of the brilliant white surface, and under a blazing desert sun, the reflections from the car's polished aluminium body made it almost impossible to tell precisely when it passed the timing equipment. Eyston's simple but ingenious solution was to paint a large black arrow on the car's sides, incorporating a yellow central circle motif that could be seen clearly even at high speed. This is what gives today’s Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow Collection both its name and unique historical context. GRADIENT PAINT Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow’s exclusive Bespoke finish features a full colour graduation between two tones - Celebration Silver and Black Diamond. A glass-infused ‘Crystal’ paint over layer has been applied to the Black Diamond paint to enhance the transition between the two colours, achieving a striking motion blur effect from front to rear. This exclusive Bespoke technique also gives the coachwork a subtle texture inspired by the crusted surface of the Bonneville Salt Flats, set beneath a high gloss lacquer, which is polished for more than 12 hours to achieve a glass-like finish. The realisation of this extraordinary finish required the marque to undertake 18 months of surface testing and development before the marque’s Bespoke Collective of engineers, craftspeople and designers achieved a result befitting to Rolls-Royce standards. The total investment in time developing the material chemistry, application technique and surface finishing makes Gradient Paint one of the most technically complex paints that Rolls-Royce has ever created. CONTRAST PALETTE Contrast to the Gradient Paint is provided by Bright Yellow bumper inserts and Bespoke wheel pinstripes, subtly recalling the yellow circle within Thunderbolt’s black arrow. In another Rolls-Royce first, Black Arrow’s V-struts, located behind the radiator grille and in front of the engine, are also finished in Bright Yellow, subtly drawing the eye to the V12 engine behind the Black Badge dark chrome grille surround. This use of Bright Yellow extends to the base of the motor car’s layered carbon fibre Spirit of Ecstasy, which incorporates a Bright Yellow ring detail and an engraving of the Collection name. V12 LEGACY FASCIA To commemorate Rolls-Royce’s last-ever V12 coupé, the marque’s Bespoke Collective of designers, craftspeople and engineers collaborated to create a unique artwork for Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow's fascia. The intricate, tactile design skilfully depicts the contemporary V12 engine in Wraith. In keeping with the Black Badge family’s noir ambience, the highly complex design - itself the product of two months of development - is engraved in a single sheet of black-coated aluminium to reveal the gleaming metal beneath, providing a bold visual link to Thunderbolt’s polished aluminium body. BESPOKE VENEER Black Arrow’s coach doors are lined with open-pore Black Wood, in a complex design comprising over 320 multi-directional and lasered marquetry pieces that mimics the cracked, irregular surface of the Bonneville Salt Flats. This extraordinary feature also extends onto the rear ‘Waterfall’ panel, which separates the two rear seats. CONSOLE SPEEDFORM Thunderbolt underwent a series of design iterations during its lifetime. Its final shape, in which it captured the records commemorated in Black Badge #Wraith Black Arrow, is preserved forever in the illuminated, polished aluminium Speedform encapsulated behind glass on the front console. NEW ‘CLUB’ LEATHER Inside, Black Arrow’s interior is provisioned with a new material type developed specifically for the Collection. The armrests, seat gussets, transmission tunnel, door detail, door panniers and lower dashboard panel are all finished in ‘Club Leather’ – its intentional greater sheen and even deeper black colouration provide a subtle contrast to the matte Rolls-Royce natural-grain black leather. The leather’s natural markings are intentionally emphasised to give the interior more visible ‘life lines’, and a closer resemblance to what was described at the time as “the club-armchair type of driving seat which George [Eyston] prefers above all others”. In keeping with the Black Badge series’ use of daring pulses of colour, Bright Yellow is employed for the front seat leather. Atop the seat, the outer headrest features an arrow embroidery motif, providing rich, tactile detail and referencing the arrow symbol painted on Thunderbolt’s aluminium body to enable the electric timing equipment to ‘see’ and capture the car at full speed. TRACK GUIDE When the steering wheel is set in a straight-ahead position, a dark marking at the twelve o’clock position aligns with a similar pattern in the seats. This references the black lines Eyston’s team painted on the white Salt Flats to help him maintain direction - his sole point of reference at speeds of over 350 mph. In recognition of the significance of this marking, this track guide flows in a deliberately asymmetric line from the steering wheel to the driver’s and rear passengers’ seats. RECORD CONSTELLATION Given Thunderbolt’s record-breaking status, it is only fitting that Black Arrow incorporates a record of its own. Casting a dramatic night’s-sky ambience over the interior suite, Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow’s Bespoke Starlight Headliner incorporates 2,117 fibre-optic ‘stars’ - the greatest number ever seen in a #RollsRoyce motor car. All individually arranged by hand, the ‘stars’ depict the Milky Way as seen from vast open spaces, and the constellations precisely as they would have appeared over the Salt Flats in Utah on 16 September 1938, the date of Eyston’s final, immutable record. BLACK ARROW CLOCK Inspired by the analogue instruments of the 1930s, the fascia clock bezel references the raw, technical aesthetic of Thunderbolt's interior, enhanced by black hand-tips that mimic the originalcar’s side-arrows; the surround is inscribed with the legend ‘Bonneville’ and Thunderbolt’s everlasting record speed for a V12-engined car of 357.497 mph. A further ‘arrow’ detail appears on the motor car’s Bespoke treadplates. ENGINE BADGE An exclusive Bespoke plaque is mounted on the engine cover to signify this as the last V12 ever to be fitted to a Rolls-Royce coupé. Machined from a single piece of polished metal, the plaque is inscribed with the V12 monogram in Bright Yellow, and the legend ‘Final Coupé Collection’ in Black. All 12 motor cars in the Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow Collection have been allocated to clients around the world. CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION. • Wreckdock debuts a new innovative offshore recycling company

Wreckdock, an industry leader in responsible vessel recycling, announces the launch of a new innovative offshore recycling company and offers an early investment round of discounted shares for early-stage investors. Wreckdock recently drew attention over its bid to develop a safe and sustainable facility located in Saudi Arabia, including a fully serviced labor compound for its employees. This is an super exciting opportunity for investors looking to personally get involved and participate by supporting this sustainable world-class venture. Based on the construction of four drydocks from 350 meter to 500 meter long with eight quays where the team can use heavy-duty cranes, magnets, and other machinery tools, it can dismantle the end-of-life vessel within two weeks. During the process, Wreckdock follows strict rules and regulations to recycle all the raw materials and to trade them to the company's suppliers for a new life. The facility will be following Industrial requirements such as BIMCO Recyclecon, The Hong Kong Convention, and the EU's Ship Recycling Regulation. "Wreckdock expects to dismantle and recycle 48 to 52 end-of-life vessels annually in its brand-new sustainable and responsible facility." Every incoming vessel starts with a vessel recycling project plan which includes a ship recycling facility plan where its team of experts details the recycling for every vessel, including the inventory report of hazardous materials. Wreckdock Vessel Recycling focuses on circular demolition, attempting to reuse the larger amount of demolition waste from the decommissioning project or convert it into raw material so that it can be traded to accredited customers. After every vessel, the team recycles a full and final recycling report, and a vessel recycling certificate will be administrated. Through responsible waste management programs, Wreckdock Vessel Recycling can protect the environment from the pollution of oil, gasoline, and other chemical and unfriendly ecologic materials with a risk to the environment and stop the unresponsible dismantling and recycling of end-of-life vessels on beaches in Asia. All the oceans in the world are connected, and by using the beach and the ocean for dismantling vessels, the results for the Eco life are extremely negative. Wreckdock expects to dismantle and recycle 48 to 52 end-of-life vessels annually in its brand-new sustainable and responsible facility. Wreckdock collects, processes, and recycles all released materials and resells them to international market parties. The firm includes the global trade and supply of steel products, financial buying and selling operations, and international trade in ferrous and non-ferrous metals and oil.

The synopsis of the manifesto is: • Believing that once the rural noble masses of the nation of India have risen in material wealth, this nation can lead the world spiritually, materially, and peacefully. • The creation of economic independence and abundance in India through the principle of "from India, by India, in India, for India, then for outbound global contributions". • Multi-Ministry initiatives for the asset convergence and aggregation as centered around the Minister of Finance, Governor of the Central Bank, and Minister of Digital National Economy, plus all asset-based Ministries in Private Public Partnerships to implement Future Trends’ model of "converge, merge, integrate, aggregate, capitalize, monetize, digitalize, multiply, and distribute" the wealth of the nation thus produced in abundance. • Re-arraying and awakening the latent potential wealth of the nation domestically first and, at the same time, creating a vortex whereby all global players and investors will rush into India as the viable preferred destination. • growing the total National Economy value to $25 trillion dollars. • the creation of the trillion-dollar Future Generation Fund and Sovereign Wealth Fund in the hybrid system of both classic assets converged and multiplied by the digital economy to become the first case of its kind in world history. • Accelerating and multiplying the total economic and financial growth of the private, public, and government sectors of the Indian Nation and its key states by 10–20x within 5-7 years. • Increasing exports of the country by double or triple multiplier and beyond (3-10x multiplication) within 5 years. • Increasing employment in the country by 8-10% extra margin. • Raising the GDP growth of India by 3-5% extra margin. • Utilizing state and private media throughout India to communicate all the above aspects of the New India Collective Peaceful Rise Movement to the masses, the populations, and the public, and to entities and institutions and regional and local governments across the nation, to rally the nation to build a "Union of Will" for the collective creation of the New India New Era. • HAUTLENCE will debut a new limited collection at Watches & Wonders Geneva

A brand new chapter in the history of HAUTLENCE Founded in 2004, HAUTLENCE – whose name itself is an anagram of Neuchâtel – pays tribute to the birthplace of the watchmaking art. The brand has been praised by watch collectors and aficionados from across the world for bringing a new dynamism to the art of fine watchmaking. LINEAR Series 2, Reference AD50-ST01. All images courtesy of HAUTLENCE In 2022, HAUTLENCE embarked on a new chapter in its history. While continuing to refine and develop the brand's signature codes, HAUTLENCE adopted a brand new, more contemporary and sporty approach. Featuring a new structure, a more exclusive distribution network and a visual identity aligned with the brand's positioning, HAUTLENCE now has the resources to confirm its status as a leading independent. Following the Linear Series 1, the brand is set to launch the Linear Series 2 at this year's prestigious Watches & Wonders Geneva trade fair. Featuring a redesigned case with a black PVD coating that offers a stunning contrast with the coloured elements of the movement, as well as a new calibre and a unique time reading display, the Linear Series 2 model further demonstrates the brand's commitment to keep pushing boundaries. With annual production of around 200 pieces, HAUTLENCE has nine calibres designed and developed in-house, whilst also relying on external partners for the movements used in certain collections. In strategic terms, HAUTLENCE can count on support from MELB Holding, an independent family watchmaking group which has been offering its experience and network since 2012, with the synergies between HAUTLENCE and the group sure to grow. Following on from the jumping hour disc, the half-trailing hour chain and the jumping hour that spins on a sphere, the avant-garde brand now presents a linear retrograde jumping hour. HAUTLENCE has reconnected with its DNA by pursuing its revolutionary approach to time reading, this time with an added dimension. On the left of the Linear Series 2's dial, a graduated scale resembling those used on precision measuring instruments indicates the hours using a linkage. This large, very slim linkage recalls the one used in the first movement developed by HAUTLENCE in 2004: the calibre HL. The small white pointer on its end indicates the hour on the vertical scale. Once the 12 numeral is passed, the snail disengages the probe to release the accumulated energy. The linkage then jumps and returns to the 1 numeral. In addition to the linear retrograde jumping hour, the Linear Series 2 is equipped with a flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock, whose balletic movement can be admired behind its blue skeletonised bridge. The deep black graduated scale echoes the intense black of the steel case on the Linear Series 2, which is entirely covered with PVD to contrast with the linkage, the tourbillon bridge and the minute hand in blue. This finish underscores the distinctly contemporary aesthetic of the redesigned, ultra-durable case, which offers water resistance to 10 ATM. Relief forms on the sides add volume and dynamism to HAUTLENCE's signature TV screen shape, but with a modernised aesthetic. D50 self-winding mechanical movement. Linear retrograde jumping hour and 1 minute flying tourbillon Power reserve: minimum of 72 hours Regulating organ: 21,600 vibrations per hour; Number of components: 239 Number of jewels: 39. The notched bezel, which is also covered with PVD, features a black rubber band that echoes the strap. As always at HAUTLENCE, the dial is constructed on several levels. An additional sapphire dial featuring the minute numerals sits on top of the base dial with a vertical satin finish. The main dial is partially open to allow parts of the movement to be seen. One component visible through the opening is the minute cam. This is integral with the minute hand, which rotates once per hour and lifts the minute sector as the hour elapses. After 60 minutes, the minute sector falls back, driving the hour star which includes the hour cam. The calibre D50 self-winding #movement is the motor that drives the Linear Series 2. It has been entirely developed, designed and produced in-house, bringing the number of HAUTLENCE #manufacture #movements to eight. Equipped with a module created in collaboration with Agenhor, it comprises 239 components, oscillates at a frequency of 3 hertz and offers a power reserve of 72 hours. The finely chased oscillating weight recalls the brand's famous Moebius movement. Technically and aesthetically perfect, the component drives this unique #timepiece which marks an unmistakable moment of renewal for the HAUTLENCE brand. HAUTLENCE is pushing the boundaries of traditional #watchmaking codes, uniting them with innovative mechanical solutions and an unlimited universe borrowed from the various arts, combining design, architecture, and movement. The brand takes its inspiration from this to create new approaches to time display, which it uses to elevate the two key dimensions of space and time. Ever conscious of a functional relationship with beauty, #HAUTLENCE invents #timepieces with completely new contours and depths, respecting every stage and every person involved in their production.
